This session will be led by Line Van Nieuwstadt, Adjunct Research Scientist in Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering at U-M Ann Arbor, and Clinical Associate Professor of Engineering Practice at U-M Dearborn. She will be presenting on the benefits and challenges of experiential learning in engineering education. She will share her observations and describe her work in supporting in-class and extra-curricular experiential learning efforts at U-M Dearborn. Attendees will then have a chance to discuss how we can address some of the challenges of experiential learning at U-M. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
