This work-in-progress session will be led by Robin Fowler, a Lecturer IV in Technical Communication. She will be presenting research on gendered experiences on first year project-based learning teams (with collaborators Laura Hirshfield (CoE), Tracy Bartholomew (CRLT), Magel Su (former UM undergrad, now MSE PhD student at CalTech), Celeste Forester (Skyline HS summer research program), and Carter Veilleux (Skyline HS summer research program). Attendees will have opportunities to discuss ways to push engineering teams toward more equitable gender dynamics.
